This is us: Leo and Carla. We share a passion for sustainable and caring cosmetics , for your skin and the environment.
The genesis.
In 2016, Carla developed a severe form of hormonal acne after stopping the pill. She then dealt intensively with the topics of skin, care and make-up. She wanted to understand her skin's needs and how imperfections develop in order to improve her skin's appearance in the long term. Carla quickly noticed how many questionable ingredients most make-up products contain. She also noted that there are hardly any natural cosmetic brands that only produce nourishing make-up.
The idea.
The idea of PURE U. was born. Carla immediately began developing her own make-up - tailored to her sensitive skin and using only nourishing ingredients .
Execution.
First she produced just for herself, then for her friends. In 2019, Leo joined the young founder. Together they began to further develop and perfect their products in their own laboratory. In the meantime, we all benefit from Carla's experience and Leo and Carla's shared desire to sustainably change the cosmetics industry with PURE U products and to combine care and make-up .
